Hi,
I have an offer of 20.86 lpa from societe generale and 23lpa from HCl.
Before job searching my CTC was 11.5 lpa.To retain me,my current company revised it to 16.37 lpa during appraisal but I didn't take back my paper.Now they came for another round of discussion and said they would give 25 lpa if I take my paper back.What should I do?
I know that upper management had to fight to get it revised to 16.5 lpa,and they are increasing again to save their face.Would it harm if I stay?

I’m curious too. I don’t feel I want to do this forever. I was looking at product manager roles at tech companies since I feel like the longer I spend doing workday, the longer I’m pigeonholed
Just be aware that if you don’t want to pigeonhole yourself you will be paid less, have less job security and more competition for jobs. The less people that can do what you can do, the more you generally get paid.
Been doing Workday 4.5 years and just transitioned out. It was a difficult process to find the right role tbh. I had interviews at a lot of tech companies (Stripe, Salesforce, etc.) but they were for HRIS positions that didn't get me too excited. Luckily I ended up finding a more tech+strategy related role at a unicorn and nailed the interview process.
Definitely recommend to start looking earlier than later if you're eventually trying to get out of the industry. I'm gonna miss it, but happy to be moving on.

I’ve found in my experience skillsets are transferrable. For example, a lot of PeopleSoft and SAP folks have transitioned into Workday relatively smoothly because base concepts, functionality, and technical skills are similar between these platforms. Personally, I’ve been able to utilize previous experience in ADP to learn about how Workday works a lot quicker than those without basic HCM experience.
Anyway, I think if Workday HRIS or FINS roles aren’t the exits you are looking for, I’d recommend looking into other competitors such as ServiceNow, UKG, Namely, Paylocity, etc. as exits that can most likely leverage your Workday experience.
