Find a less stressful line of work. My uncle retire after 41 years as a cop earlier this year and died of a heart attack on Friday. Gives you some perspective.
Sorry to hear. Hope your family and his loved ones can all take something valuable away from this
Get some land, build my own house (with help) and have a hobby farm, raise some animals etc.
10.2 yes I travel. My office is Charlotte but I travel out of Charleston SC. I live in Berkeley County SC. Still rural in areas and only an hour outside of the city.
Get to 180lbs and maintain that weight! Currently at 205 and was 220 in December
I have the exact same profile. I was 220 on Jan 1. Got down to 195 in early March. But I gained a lot of it back during covid. I’m probably around 210 now. I just need to have the will power to stop snacking and keep moving throughout the day. One good thing is I’m not drinking much.
Buy an island, and raise some tigers... also hope to see Carol Baskin go to jail
Hey all you cool cats and kittens
Would love to be so comfortable enough in my own skin that non-constructive external criticism (about my appearance, my personality, my worth, etc.) doesn't faze me!
EY1 I think that's a fair point. What I'd love to get to is a balanced point where I am so secure in myself, my decisions, and my ethics that I'm not emotionally shaken by anything that anyone says about me because I trust myself. If it's fact-based, it has merit. If someone is just saying something without a lot of basis, then I want to be graceful about the fact that they might be having a bad day, projecting, or something else that isn't actually as a result of my actions or work.
Make it out alive, with a job, and a lined up date after this apocalypse.
Conquer my depression
I haven’t conquered anything but I have learned to be highly functional with it.
Married happily with my current girlfriend, have 2-4 kids that can all have everything paid for if required (don’t intend to overly spoil). Have girlfriend move into her desired field (scheduled to go back to school soon), be in shape like I was 5 years ago, live in a nice area in Toronto and retire in Italy.
Game recognize game!
I need to drop the weight I gained from my depression of the last few years. I just need to kick self in rear and stop embibing in wine
Lot of cool tactics out there, that’s an interesting one I haven’t heard :) glad it is working for you G1 and thanks for sharing
DINK status and visit all 195 countries. I’m at 76 at the moment.
SC1 I said I know it’s right for me. I didn’t say it is right for everyone. I said they’ll never know.
Get to proposing to my baby girl and put some babies in her and be a great father 🥺😭
The best one on the page
Goals?
Farm with stream and some interesting living spaces
Exactly the same
Happily married with a family and able to send all my kids to school with no loans
Get wealthy while staying healthy
Become financially independent. I define this as $3-4 million invested that I can withdraw $100k per year from, after tax, in 2019 dollars.
No clue. Probably in 20-25 years. I'm not saving/investing enough to get there super fast.
Financial:
Own a farm house retreat in my home country
Lease a Tesla in my current country
Mental:
Wake up every morning with a focus to be my happiest self and spread happiness
Go to heaven
Physical:
Do a split!
Write something worth reading
Quit my job and become a Buddhist Monk.
@P4 Really? What interests you about it? Are you Buddhist already?
Have a beach house!
