I've heard of "ungrading" where students can revise their work.

We use "beginning," "developing," and "secure" in my district K-2. Personally, I think they should add an "exceeding" for students who exceed the expectations.

I’m working on trying to figure out standards based grading

Same!

Our district does a list of the grade standards and then a level system that I’m not 100% sure on but I think it’s emerging, developing, demonstrated, applied

like

Mastery or standards based grading

like

We use minimal, basic, proficient, and advanced

Hi everyone, how hard is to transition from PM to VC/PE? Do you have some suggestions, and what are the pros and cons you see from such a change? I have 2 years PM experience, and 1 in strategic consulting (MBB). As a PM I have been involved in many commercial Due Diligences for products we acquired, and I enjoyed them quite a lot. Thanks!

Illness advice needed - I have IBS which has gotten worse in the past year. WFH has been a blessing, sometimes I’ll need to make it to a bathroom within 30s-1m or have an accident. I’m not sure if I can manage working in person with how my condition has worsened.
Q1: Does anyone live with IBS and how do you manage?

I’m being offered to be converted to a FTE from a contractor currently. I have 2-3 years of experience in the domain I work and currently make $45/hour ($93,600). The offer is at $90,000 annually. Is it normal to take a dip when being converted? I know the benefits will make up for it eventually. However, there is a waiting period of 60-90 days for each respective benefit. So I take a pay cut and have to find my own health insurance for the first 2-3 months? Should I ask for a bonus or stipend
