Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.

Honestly? “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck”. I had to learn the hard way how to not take a lot of things personally. I got thrown into an agency’s biggest launch in years and I was only a PM for a week with zero training. (Talk about trial by fire!!!!). Everyone loves to point the finger at the Project Manager and you have to have a strong backbone in order to lead a team, stick to your conviction, stand up when something is wrong and separate personal from business
Just be likable and make sure everyone is in the loop - and your GOLD. No book reco’s sorry
Spend more time learning about working with people than process. Books like "The Coaching Habit" and "How To Make Friends And Influence People"
Not a lot of good books out there for doing this in an agency or marketing environment. I humbly suggest my very, stagnant but still relevant, blog for a few choice items - http://pm2pm.blogspot.com/?m=1
