This is surprisingly true. Many Anime series spend a ton of time describing and highlighting the strategic thinking behind whats going on that you can develop that strategic thinking muscle just by watching series

I’m a big fan of picking up books on war or biographies of non-business people. Do the hard work to break apart 1. what information they had, 2. what they considered and what did they miss, 3. what decision they made and 4. what were the outcomes/lessons learned. This can help build the muscle of thinking strategically without actually doing it yourself.

IMO business books are less useful for this since it is often just survivorship bias masquerading as strategy.

Hi all,

Views on the below-

We must stop glamorizing working for over and above the contractual hours if there isn't a system for fair overtime pay.

Things would have been way different if there was a strong employee rights union.

How do you handle coworkers that are constantly passive aggressive towards you? There’s one woman on my team who is generally pretty snarky and sarcastic but lately she has been excessively rude to me. She constantly pings me (and everyone else) to complain about mundane things in her life so I’ll respond back as minimally and inoffensively as possible yet she still finds a way to say something offensive. I would normally write it off as just having a different sense of humor but she...

I gave interview for Technical Manager in Wipro. JD was leaning heavily on architect side. The interview was boring, and the main focus was on team building. All my answers were technical in nature, which did not impress the interviewer. He said, he is just looking where I can fit in the organisation. I doubt they will just put me on hold. Can anyone help me understand, or share similar experience with Wipro if they had.
