Recommend watching anime.
This is surprisingly true. Many Anime series spend a ton of time describing and highlighting the strategic thinking behind whats going on that you can develop that strategic thinking muscle just by watching series
I know Pyramid Principle is the gold standard for this

I’m a big fan of picking up books on war or biographies of non-business people. Do the hard work to break apart 1. what information they had, 2. what they considered and what did they miss, 3. what decision they made and 4. what were the outcomes/lessons learned. This can help build the muscle of thinking strategically without actually doing it yourself.
IMO business books are less useful for this since it is often just survivorship bias masquerading as strategy.
