Tinder date was not at all what was portrayed in the pics. We were suppose to meet at a restaurant. I pretended like nothing was wrong when obviously we both knew I was being catphished. Got a few drinks to see if anything would change...it didn’t. Told the date I was gonna use the bathroom real quick....plot twist....blocked her number, removed her from tinder match, blocked social media on my way to the exit...👻

Post-Covid, I just cannot seem to find the inspiration to network at a conference such as the AWS DC summit. I initially wanted to get facetime with vendors to check out potential job openings. But it just feels like a large circle jerk where no productive work gets done. And besides all keynote addresses are recorded and available online anyway. Wondering if anyone out there feels differently or has had better experiences from these events? #aws

Want to use an offer to leverage a higher salary, those who have done this before - can I be required to show the letter? Do I have to say who the offer is from? Considering an opportunity at UBS Switzerland for Senior Consultant role at their internal consulting arm. ~ 6 YoE total, of that 3.5Y in FO Trading, 2.5Y management consulting --> likely being promoted from L9 to L7 at end of year. What would be the salary range for this position? I am not sure, whether this falls under AD or D band? Also, should I wait for the promotion, and leverage the new title for new opportunities?
