YNAB is by far the best budgeting/financial app I’ve ever used. Only thing that has been sticky in terms of me actually using it. Personal capital is just looking at your money but pretty good to calculate your day to day net worth

like

Are you really only concerned with net worth? Because there are probably issues with the budgeting ones. I mentioned on another thread how 401k accounts will show total amount, not vested amount. That's a difference of about $20k over my last 3 companies. I also pull in car and home values, but those are very subject to change.

Simplifi - it is paid but beats anything out there.

Mint, Nerd Wallet, Personal Capital

For personal capital, are you able to connect robinhood?

I was able to link my husband and mine Robinhood accounts without an issue. Do you have 2 factor authentication on. If yes, it texts you each time you want to refresh.

Status Money is good

Got it. It’s $10/month now

Does Personal Capital connect to E*TRADE?

Yes, I have it connected to:

Merrill
Fidelity
Etrade
TD Ameritrade
Robinhood
WeBull
Stash

Downside is that it doesn’t connect to cryptocurrency platforms yet.

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)

Hi team ,

I have started working from jul2019 and I have filed my tax return for 2020 and 2021 tax years.

However I note that there was withholding of some amount in 2017-2018 and 2019 tax years ( withholding from comission received from insurance commission from lic and United india)

I have not filed 2017, 2018, 2019 return as my total income was less than threshold

Is it possible to file return for 2017 , 2018, 2019( all r in refund) now without paying any penalty?

Given the strength of the dollar vs the euro, could people purchase euros here in the US (banks/money exchange stores) and sell them later when the Euro becomes stronger? Is this possible/legal? I assume taxes would need to be paid on the gains? Never dabbled in Forex so please forgive the newbie question. This scenario just keeps running through my head when I hear the news. And I keep wondering why people arent doing this 😅
