Pick up a good accounting and finance book, covers most of the "hard" stuff you'll actually have to study for in b-school. As an engineering major, the "rigor" of an MBA is kind of a joke. Don't sweat it.

like

Maybe some basic finance/accounting. It's really easy coming from an engineering background. They'll act like it's hard. Just nod your head.

B school is super easy don't bother with the pre study

Thank-you.

What the heck is a pre-MBA course? As an MBA student I've never heard of this.

Hi all! To qualify for an L1A visa, do you have to be a senior manager / executive level or does it work as long as you’re a manager? I just moved out of the US because the H1b lottery didn’t work out for me, and I’m thinking rather than spending 1 or 2 years in my home country and go back as a senior, I’d much rather work here a bit longer, get that manager title, wait a year, and then go back as I think that would be the fastest route to green card..? Any thoughts/advice? I’m from 🇰🇷 :) TYI!!

Does anyone have any advice for applying to remote positions? How do I stand out? Most of my experience is in healthcare, clinical and administrative. I want to go to school full time instead of part time and working remotely will provide a better opportunity to facilitate that. I’m applying everywhere with very few callbacks. I’m trying to get into tech as my degree is in Information Systems. Any advice would help!

So I had an interview with a company (3 rounds actually) which went pretty well. I even rearranged my schedule for last minute interviews because it’s the job that I really want. My recruiter said that they all love me & even wanted me to speak to the CEO. Then they needed a few days to speak with another candidate. After a few days, I was told that they needed another day because the other candidate couldn’t interview with the department lead. I’m really worried now. How should I take this?
