I *know* they’re going to lowball me at $50k. How can I turn it down with tact OR convince them that I’ll need $70k+ to be worth the stress and hassle?

I joined Byju's 6 months back, as a Software Engineer.
At that time I had 2 YOE and my CTC was 10LPA.
I was offered 15LPA by Byju's and I accepted it and joined them.

Now I see new joinees with less than 1YOE joining Byju's with 18-20LPA, what should I do?

I don't feel like switching as my team here is good and secondly I don't wanna be a job hopper switching in just 6 months. Any advice?

I was informed today by the management in a pay review that salary is based on performance + experience. They confirmed that though I (7 YOE) outperform the seniors (20+ YOE) and also achieved a higher Annual Review score, it will not be possible for me to bridge the current 15% pay gap. We will all be getting 2%.
Am I right in thinking this company has lost the plot with archaic policy or is this logic commonplace and YOE is king?
