Hello, any advise on how to handle a past job situation about 5 years ago, that I quit without 2 week notice,? I started in June and lasted 3 months with a solo attorney who’s behaviour was unacceptable, I learned that I was his 8th paralegal and soon I learned why. I demanded to be talked as a human and after another incident I quit the same day. He gave me a bad review to a recruiter in the past, and I’m interested In applying for a giant tech position which I know will be an issue. Thx

Question for paid search experts who have big agency experienc (e.g. big 4, dentsu, etc.) - is it considered standard to use SKAG instead of STAG, and use alpha/beta structures?...even with the changes Google has made to phrase and exact match? The various agencies I've worked at (small agencies) never use that method.

I missed adding parents in health insurance for this financial year. my father cancer surgery happened and I spend 15 lakh from savings and debt. Their is further spends in next financial year April and May for chemotherapy & radiation.

Is it a red flag to not use your current employer as a reference or would this not be noticed? I have other references I want to use who I think can better attest to my skills for the job but don’t want it to raise any questions.

I've applied and networked for my dream job and didn't get an interview this time. Also dissatisfied with compensation and some of the responsibilities at my current job but have a lot of opportunity to learn. So the question is do I stay where I'm not thrilled to be now because it's good experience to set me up for the dream job next time there's an opening, or do I leave now to an option that's better pay and more interesting but farther off the path towards my long term goal?

I’ve heard that recruiters prefer one page resumes over two page, but how do you fit everything on one page if you have over 10 years experience and worked at more than a handful of companies? I’ve seen people squeeze things into one page with 10pt font and barely any blank space..is that preferred over two pages?! Lol

Hello! I had 4 rounds of interviews and a project submission round for a large company. I finished my final interview on Monday morning. Does anyone have experience they can share about the timeframe from final interview to offer/rejection?

A week following my second interview, I checked in with the hiring manager for any updates, and they responded by saying the recruiting coordinator will follow up with me. Do you see think this usually means good news? Or, why might the hiring manager be waiting to have the recruiter deliver the bad/good news?

I didn't include it on my most current resume and I was able to get a few interviews lined up. I was somewhat unsure though if they would possibly bring it up as a question. So I applied for a position & received feedback from the hiring manager stating that the position that I applied for was filled internally but they would like consider me for another position. So I interviewed and two days later, I was offered the position. Went through a background check & negotiated salary. It’s been almost 2 months and they stated that the delay is due to internal HR issues since the dept director did not create a new job requisition for the job they offered me. Thoughts?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
