Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Damn that’s a red flag.
What is the firms strategic vision for the next five years?
What firm wide issues you are struggling to fix today?
Tell me about the worst day you have had as CEO of this firm
A1 sounds fairly inorganic and weird to me
This was over the phone. Meeting him for coffee tomorrow.
One thing that has me worried was his comment “working for me is a bit like selling your soul to the devil. I’ll make you very rich if you exceed my expectations."
Wall Street (1987), Michael Douglas?
How do you approach culture building?
Don’t work for the “devil”! If someone describes themselves like that, take them at face value. Always good to make more money, but you deserve to be valued as an employee and as a person.
“$250B in spend”. Who has $250B? Million sure, but billion?
OP - there are, what, only 10 companies in the world with that much spend. Your CEO, if he said that, is full of it. Unless one of those
- What is one thing that keeps you awake at night ? (Could be operational or could be something extremely strategic like a merger (which he might not share, but you get the point)
- Why did you choose this role? (Will show his purpose, his vision, his steer)
- If there is one thing you would want changed in 5-5-5 what would that be (5 days-5 months-5 years)?
- Do you feel your industry can be completely obsolete or a complete 180 of what it is today, say in 10 years?
Where are others who have held my position in the past? What made them successful vs not?
Hopefully helps tease out what “working for the devil” actually means..
I asked this question and went on a 20 min rant about the 3 folks are now ceo or cfo of subsidiaries. But didn’t go into detail about working for the Devil
Hard question: what do you want said at your funeral, and who will say it?
What’s the next exiting thing happening in this industry that an outsider doesn’t know about
If you’re interviewing with the CEO, I presume you’ll be under an nda
Exiting is exciting.
What, in your opinion, is one factor that can severely impact your company ?
Ask to talk to someone who reports to them (to get a feel for their management style)
“How is your relationship to the board? How are you leveraging them?"
“Where is Malaysia airlines flight 370"
$250B - lol. I don’t think so.
What are things beyond his control running the firm and how does he envision to handle?
“Whats the hardest substance on earth?”
What metrics do you utilize to understand the health of your business?
OP if he said $250 B to you and was still talking to you, that is reason enough for him to hire you. If not who in the right mind would spend all that valuable time on a nobody.
