What are some great small cities to visit for a weekend in the United States?

DPW has made the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory for all U.S. offices. Anyone who doesn‘t have the vaccine will not be permitted to enter the premises. Can I please check how the other BigLaw firms are dealing with this? Don‘t want to start a political discussion, but this seems very intruisive to me.

My roommate just went to see her boyfriend knowing he has Covid. I asked her not to go seeing as I’m not vaccinated and she said she needs to check on him (he has 3 roommates so he’s not alone). I told her that if she goes to see him I’m not comfortable with her coming back and asked if she could stay with him until they both get a negative Covid test. She said it’s crazy to ask her to not come home and said I should get a hotel if I’m that concerned.

Recommendations for favorite travel bag? I like book bags but my back gets sweaty walking around, but totes seem less practical. Tried lo & sons OMG but the shape didn't rly work for me...

I’ve come to realize there are two types of republicans. Those that believe the free market is the best way forward and will pull all Americans up, and those that are fiscally conservative because they are greedy and do not like being taxed, but have no real philosophy in why. The latter often happen to be anti-LGBT and refuse to believe that racism exists in the United States. I only respect the former.

Wife is for moving to Singapore after that (assuming we get the right opp of course) to be closer to india and get the best of both worlds, perks such as domestic help, good education system for kids, physically and culturally closer to home, flight to India is only 3-4 hrs can go every few months even for a weekend if need be, parents can visit more easily, much better weather.
