What are some interesting side gigs people do in nyc? For example, I always see people talking about flipping but that seems hard for someone in nyc without a car (for things like TVs, furniture, etc)

Dog walking and pet sitting are popular. Other ideas are tutoring local kids, selling your old stuff in local consignment stores, offering singing piano or other musical lessons

Flipping apartments in NYC sounds expensive! People do that??

One of my friends buys vintage furniture on FB marketplace to resell it. She has a car though

I am creating a personal blockchain network hosted on in house IOT network, anyone interested in building it along with me?

Need some advice: I'm at a very large system I integrator, doing of all things strategy work... I'm doing 120k/year. I have crazy line of sight with executives at the company. Problem is that, I'm not seeing the high standards I expect from individuals at this level and it's buzzkill. Should I jump and where? I'm assuming, I wouldn't have the ability to do the same stuff I'm doing now. Thoughts?

People with equity as a large portion of TC, do you feel as if you’re going to be priced out of the city soon due to market conditions? Anyone else priced out just because things have gotten ridiculous ? I expect people are going to have to start leaving because COL has just become unsustainable for many. Expecting rents to start dropping big in the fall. Already seeing some units sit around and some coming back on the market after being in contract. Have to sign a new lease in August…
