I'm 29 and will have close to 120k in assets by end of year. I know everyone's situation is different but just curious how I'm doing compared to other 29 year olds! Sometimes I feel 'behind' when constantly seeing people in this bowl and other platforms talk about having 200-300k+ in assets and are like 25! Just looking for a reality check :)

Had a final round interview (3 1-on-1s and one panel presentation) with a healthcare marketing company today for a manager position. Should I open an IRA Roth account? Need suggestion on better allocation. Im mid 20s, making 80K pre-tax. My allocation is as followed:
1) 401k account has only $21K. 5% in Roth and 3% in pre-tax, no IRA account yet. My company matches 100% up til 3%, and 50% til 5%.
2) 85K in stocks, including both base and profits
3) 50K in real estate
4) 25K emergency funds.
No debt.

Should I open an IRA roth account and max it out?
Not sure what my goal is. Im 40% high risk high reward, 60% stability.

Any tips on selecting a health insurance plan? I’m young, stay very healthy, and have no health issues that I know of but I’m risk averse and feel like getting a low deductible plan.

I'm in big law, and my firm won't match my 401k contributions. They have a profit sharing structure with no minimum contributions necessary as long as I participate in their 401k program. Should I still max out my 401k? The tax argument doesn't appeal to me since I'll be paying taxes when I withdraw anyways, and I'll likely be in a higher income bracket by then.

Roth vs traditional 401k. I have been maximizing only traditional 401k past 2 years and I’m in a 24% tax bracket. Can lowering a tax bracket like 12% range in future could be an option to effectively handle 401k withdrawals? Also, would like to know about withdrawal if I move back to home country and hold 401k until 60 years of age. Trying to figure out if I need to switch to Roth 401k now.
