Exercise
Exercise, very little to no caffeine or sugar and very little alcohol does the trick for me.
The occasional drink is a very important part of my anti-anxiety program 😉 (Note: not binge drinking, just 2-4 drinks per week.)
Lavender oil, St. John’s wort
Maybe try meditation using an app, like Headspace or Buddify! Also some folks swear by CBD although honestly it mostly only works for me as a topical ointment for muscle pain (think it varies by person though.) Also yoga can be very calming and restorative.
But I’ll add that therapy is a great investment if you can swing it financially and time-wise. I’ve been in regular sessions for a year to help manage anxiety and it is definitely helpful.
What anxiety symptoms are you experiencing? Are there specific triggers?
Mindfulness. Think of 5 things you can see. 5 things you can hear or smell. Then 5 things you can be thankful for.
Xanax seems to work for folks I know
