Probably a Marriott or a Hilton outside Disney
There is a Hilton right by downtown Disney. I think there is a Marriott there also. I think the swan and Dolphin are Marriot also
Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve are all Marriott properties - they were formerly SPG properties before the takeover by Marriott. You can even use Marriott points for the stay, while getting the same treatment as guests staying at Disney Resorts.
I used my Marriott points to stay at the Dolphin. It was great. I highly recommend staying in one of these three hotels if you have Marriott points.
Disney World (I’m assuming) has multiple tiers of on-site properties (Value, moderate, deluxe). Value are usually sub-$200 except for suites at Art of Animation. Moderate are $2-350, deluxe are $300+. I’d recommend staying on property for the inter-property transportation systems. It just makes it easier. As others have mentioned, Swan and Dolphin are Marriott properties, but are treated like on-site hotels. They are also within walking distance to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. EPCOT is great for food/drinks and the rides that are there are fun. Hollywood Studios is a big draw for adults because of the thrill rides (Tower of Terror, Rockin’ Rollercoaster) but also Galaxy’s Edge (Star Wars Land). I love Animal Kingdom with the safari and Expedition Everest coaster. Magic Kingdom is classic Disney with the rides, parades, etc.
I wasn't that impressed with Animal Kingdom. We have a pretty good zoo near our house and I would say it was a step up from the zoo but not super unique
Thank you guys! Also as an adult which of the parks do you prefer ?
What are you looking for. Epcot is good for adults. Magic kingdom is great for kids.
Element Anaheim Resort. We really enjoyed the family room
Good point I was assuming world not land
Marriott Harbor Lakes.
