Hi friends, need advice. Just found out my manager is resigning. I’m not supposed to know, however I know exactly what will happen when they leave - typical agency bait and switch. Looking for tips on managing up a person who often yells at their team clients get stressed.

I've been at my company just a little over 8 months and I've got an issue with a colleague who is viewed as a respected resource. She's already had issues with freelancers that they've been fine to let go. She recently hired a new girl that's an exact copy & not someone who works above me. Started grilling me on her first week about my work and they've both been putting forth incorrect info for clients. I've told them they're flat out wrong. They don't listen. Do I let them fail or push to help?

If you are asked to help out on another account in the short term, are you often not given the full picture? I feel like I am running totally blind but am expected to manage a small piece of the acct.

First 5 or 10 years in the industry... how many agencies or companies have you worked for? Do you think twice because of not wanting to risk client relationships for the agency?

What are the key differences between an SAE and an AS role? How long is someone usually an SAE before being promoted (based on your experience)?

Need advice! Right now I’m at “a top agency” and am quite happy. Good team / pay / coworkers / clients. About to get a new boss and don’t know who so there may be a shake up. Have been with agency for less than a year. There is an opportunity on a cool brand to go brand side - ok budgets, scrappy/undeveloped team, leading globalization strategy/really interesting job. Pay bump is very minimal though.. title is just a BM. Big upwards opportunity though.
