Not very helpful responses so far. Things that have worked for me in the past was to set up a center of excellence for the program. Doesn't matter if that forum is one person or multiple depending on the size of the implemented program. Before I exit the project I make sure they set a biweekly meeting cadence with key stakeholders for xx months into the future and a link to a share drive with key documents. Calling out the value gained by implementing this program and other risks and opportunities.

Had a stakeholder once argue a COE was useless. It reminded him too much of WWE Smackdown so he decided no one would take it seriously 🤣

1) business owners who are accountable for the delivery, were embedded in the process of coming up with the plan and actively excited to drive the initiative 2) ongoing execution support in the form of follow-on work (PMO, workstream support, etc.) 3) adequate resourcing - a clear “what would it take” to make this work and clear risks if you don’t have those things 4) top management sponsor - someone who signed up to take the thing over the finish line, C-suite or -1

Oh baby that's not our job, we just present the evidence and facts, they make the final call. Don't get bothered by clients not adopting your plans, that happens ALOT in this profession. Unless we are billing for the hypercare or follow up, I wouldn't worry about it

Adoption must be a key element of the change management strategy. You need executive champions, staff level evangelists, other fancy words, etc google.com/search?change+management+adoption

Have you tried providing a good plan? :)

Flew for the first time today. Woman next to me took her mask off immediately upon sitting down and starting chatting loudly with her son. What an inspirational mother.

Mamas, have you asked for a roll off or less responsibilities on your current project due to pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness? My client is so critical and demanding it’s caused me to have stress hives and panic attacks. I don’t think I can do my role well pregnant and don’t want the stress to cause the baby harm.

Daycare moms that nurse, what is your at routine? I want to get up before baby gets up but boobs are super full so taking a shower means so much leaking (sorry TMI!). Also do you feed solids before you leave or just pack it for daycare to feed?

I am due to take 2 weeks parental leave sometime in the next month and have an offer lined up. Is it better to tell the new place I would prefer to push my start date to take my leave and join two weeks after (accounting for 2 weeks of notice when I get back)? Would that be burning a bridge with current firm (taking leave and giving notice as soon as I am back)? I want to avoid losing 2 weeks of salary during that time if I can.

Hey mommas - My baby is 14 weeks old and I haven't gotten my period back yet. I'm worried I'm pregnant again. When did you get your period back? For context, I'm breastfeeding but not exclusively (I am pumping and nursing as much as I can though). I've been on the pill since 6 weeks and my husband used condoms for the first few weeks once we started again. Surprisingly, I can't find anything online that's helpful. Any sense of a timeframe would be tremendously anxiety-reducing!

For those who have kids or have decided you want to start having kids, how did you know you were ready to start trying? I’m turning 31 and my husband and I have been married for 8 months. Maybe it’s because social media has made me acutely aware of the the mom struggle. If anyone has helpful advice to push past the fear, please share!
