Should I delay joining Deloitte or join in sept?Interviewed for Deloitte in March and accepted an offer for June start date. Bcoz of pandemic the joining was pushed back to Nov/Dec.But last month HR reached out asking if I’m okay joining 2 months earlier(although no concrete projects are decided for me yet)

I put a resignation from a company and worked for 5.5 years. 18th November is my last working day. HR told, I'll receive reliving letter for the same date. But, experience letter will be issued after 1 month from the last working day.

Also, they need to do full and final settlement.

My joining date in new company is 21. Will it affect my new offer?

Hi all, I’m looking to re-enter the workforce. I had to take a career pause @ the beginning of the pandemic because I had a child. I have 5+ years of experience in life science (bench top, pathology in a hospital, startup, and most recently clinical research). Advice please! I left a firm with a strong reputation in my industry for a firm with amazing capabilities relevant to my industry, but without much of a presence in my industry and wants to build it. I had done a lot of sales at my old firm, but through leading RFP responses/orals and building on existing clients, I didn’t really have to source new net clients. I was transparent about this with my new firm and that I didn’t have relationships in their target geography. CONT

Partners: would you mind sharing your “gross” salary progression through the years? Heard from one EY partner that he was Year 1 = 400, Year 2 = 500, Year 3 = 600, Year 4 = 750, Year 5 = 1M. Wondering how accurate is it? I am sure the above numbers would require upward inflation adjustment to be applicable today.
