I had to due diligence at a chicken farm that was being acquired as part of a large deal. Who keeps their books and records at a chicken farm? The noise and smell were memorable. Then Abuja Nigeria - that trip just made me nervous for fear of possible kidnapping.

When I was an associate I had an outdoor inventory count in Missoula Montana. January 2nd. It was about 10 degrees and there was more than a foot of snow on the ground. I know, I know, here come the people in the comments who have counted in Alaska and had it so much worse. 😂

Your inventory counts might not be in you LOS? Nooo

No i’m really curious, I’m living here for about 9 more months and am kind of back and forth on it. But I’m not huge into the bar scene so I’ve found it dull.

Working as a Principal at Slalom Consulting, 2 YOE, strictly Salesforce. My prior 10+ YOE is tech consulting/digital mktg outside of Salesforce. I'm happy with comp, projects, coworkers, etc. Salesforce is recruiting me for a solution architect role in CSG. After talking to 2 recruiters, job sounds identical to my current role. Outside of equity, is there a compelling reason to consider Salesforce? I think the equity would be nice but travel also seems more likely postCovid. Thanks!

No work travel in the immediate future on current engagement. AA Platinum Pro status going to expire if I don’t get $2,000 EQD’s by year-end. Think I’ll hit ~$1,200-$1,300 with personal travel. Worth spending $700-800 more to retain status by paying for full fare first class on 1-2 of my personal trips?

Really great vibes with the entire team at offer A even though the company is a bit old school. Offer B more progressive company, but I 100% felt like I was the back up's backup and they waited for their top picks to reject before my offer. I know for a fact I was Offer A's first choice.
