I sometimes browse through this one, but I don't really read that many articles nowadays, https://academicjournals.org/journals/bysubject/Engineering

JESTECH for me

Journal of Engineering Education, the research is very relevant for my work and there's usually some real gems in there

I'm a huge fan of Advanced Materials, I just love learning about cutting edge tech

Advanced Science

I found you a list of the best engineering journals out there, I figured you might find it useful: https://interestingengineering.com/culture/the-best-academic-journals-for-engineers

I really enjoy reading the Journal of Materials Science, Applied Physics Letters, and Physical Review Letters. They are all great journals that publish high-quality research in the field of engineering.

Some of my favorite engineering journals to read are the Journal of the American Society of Civil Engineers (JASCE), the Journal of Engineering Mechanics (JEM), and the Journal of Structural Engineering (JSE). These journals are all published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and they provide great technical content on a wide range of engineering topics.

There are many excellent journals to read for engineering professionals, but my personal favorites include the Journal of Engineering Mechanics, the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering, and the ASCE Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering.

Anyone work with Pollution in LA?

Partners - how stressed would you say you are on a daily basis because of work? Does the money actually make it worth it to you (like can you actually even enjoy it outside of work)?

I’m an engineer with industrial and quality engineering experience in automotive manufacturing. Looking to transition to something remote/full time travel or a combination of both. I have 5 years of experience. Open to any field just looking for a change

Small firm lawyer here. The partners just sent out their corona info: support WTF, lawyers can decide for themselves. But the message came with the subtext that if everyone doesn’t maintain (cont..)

I just spoke with a software architect that went back to school to learn software engineering after law school because it was more lucrative and had less hours. He’s worked his way up and has the skills and authority to work 6:30am-10am and gets to work remotely. We discussed that results/outputs is better than billable time like in law and public accounting. Yet, his parents and others would view him as “lazy” but he does his job and makes a fantastic living. Time>Money and Results>Hours

I used to have panic attacks because I would fail exams and get low grades, but looking back, I wish someone had told me I was capable of finding success even with all my failures. If anyone is a student right now, know that it’s going to be okay and you’ll make a fine engineer one day as long as you persevere through your setbacks

Hey I’m currently an engineer at a nuclear power plant, I’ve only been there about 6 months, but I recently got an offer for a production shift supervisor at a chemical plant. My question is basically would this be more valuable experience than my current position. Any other pros and cons would be helpful too. Thanks

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

Hello, who can help me?

I have started my first job as a software developer and I really enjoy it.

Just wondering if it is worth investing my time into it.

I'm having some trouble with my manager.

He's always asking me to work late, but when I do, he doesn't give me any credit for it.

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it? (I ran out of characters)
