I really need a beach vacation but my friends aren’t as flexible with remote work and aren’t able to afford multiple trips a year yet - I’m thinking of a solo trip for the first time. Any recommendations for resorts/beach towns to do solo? I’d fly out of DC metro area and would prefer <5 hour flight, am fully vaxxed and can obtain COVID tests as needed, would probably like to stay under $250-300/night ☺️

Everything is harder for an Indian immigrant. It was a battle to get picked in the H1-B visa “lottery”. I haven’t seen my family in 3 years because I can’t find a visa stamping appointment at the US consulate in India. Flight tickets to go to India in the month of December is $5000. I’ve realized that all of my male friends that make $400,000 or more annually without debt have qualities that are almost antithetical to what I think many Black women are looking for. They’re engineers, scientists, and physicians.
