Had my second retrieval yesterday. They got three eggs and two fertilized. So far, this is the exact same thing that happened my last retrieval in January. Three total eggs, two fertilized. They weren't growing super well so we did a fresh transfer for both (and neither stuck).

Feeling a bit discouraged that the same pattern is repeating itself again. Probably will end up doing a fresh transfer for both of these embryos (again). I'm 33 with unexplained low ovarian reserve. Just sucks.

Sorry for another question about tipping vendors, but can someone point to any norms for NYC/NJ-based weddings? We’ve received and seen a lot of “interesting” input from others like 20% vs. a flat amount of $100-$500 vs. for photography to tip 1-2% per image that we would hang up. And then what if a vendor has multiple helpers? For reference, 20% on some of our contracts is $1,200. *Specifically for vendors where tip is not included in their contacts.

Anyone have anxiety about tracking stocks? I want to make money and can’t sleep in past 6:30am (in the West Coast) because the market is open and obsessively tracking every move.

I have had a rough time with Visa and Mastercard. Bought V at 213, MA at 338. Should I add to those positions further? Also got some SQ today at 209 and looking to get more as it hits 200.

GHIV update/retro: I was incorrectly too bullish the past 2 weeks (held 3k+ calls) and I increased my risk when I should have decreased it. Nonetheless those who took my low-risk strategy with $10 calls should still be up 100%+. The positive catalyst of the Tuesday webinar did not materialize because CEO was wary to influence stock price. Now the earnings report - which I am still very bullish on - is coming early February (merger is next week). GHIV still takes up most of my portfolio.

I have another questions please.

For example, if I sell an Apple put for this Friday at $90 strike (let’s say it’s currently trading at $100). If Apple goes below $90 during the week but is above $90 on expiration day - is it true that I can get assigned during the week? I.e. isn’t assignment only on expiration date?

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
