What are some other companies/work places doing if you contract COVID? Are they doing paid leave, no paid leave, back to work if positive but asymptomatic? Just trying to get a feel for what everyone's dealing with right now ❤️ Also please comment if you're inpatient or outpatient and what state you're in. Thank you!

Outpatient: We have a paid 80hr sick leave under FFCRA until the end of the year we can drawn from. After the first of the year, if we get sick, we either take it unpaid or use our PTO.
Sad that the sick leave ends at the end of the year when the virus is ramping up...

Outpatient care: Our policy here in Southern California is return to work if asymptotic.
Positive with symptoms off work with Paid Time Off/ vacation pay and return after two negative tests. State disability is available when certified by primary care physician. One of our employees was off with short term disability pay until well.

Hi all, I have a question/thought experiment for the prolifers. I had an abortion at 18 after my IUD failed. About 10 years later after I got established and married, I had 3 kids. If I never had the choice to abortion, my kids wouldn't be here today. If you could go back in time for me and make my decisions, would you choose the child I aborted knowing the kids I had later in life wouldn't exist, or the 3 current kids I have now?

Serious responses only please!

I’m exhausted.. Beyond stressed and feeling like I’m not doing good enough for admin. My mental health has been in the tank this year. honestly no one on campus is available to help or listen

My husband and I don't want children, or at the least don't want biological children for a variety of reasons (medical, bad genetics, etc.). After today's leak that Roe v Wade could be overturned and the fact we live in a red state, I think I'm going to be more insistent on my husband getting a vasectomy. He's said he's fine with getting one before but hasn't made any effort to talk to a doctor about it, but the latest news crosses a line for me.

I’m depressed. Nothing unique about my depression - I’m in big law, my career defines me, when I’m not working I can’t find the will to get off the couch, I’m sad or I’m numb…I know I’m the only one that can make a change to my life…I’m on antidepressants. Just extremely unmotivated and paralyzed. Self-help books are not for me, but I am curious - has anyone tried a guided depression/anxiety journal? Any recommendations if so? Or, if you have experienced the same, what steps did you take?

Hi fishes,

I have the following 2 offers..

Cognizant- 21L fixed and 1.5L variable
PWC - 22L fixed

This is for a guidewire role.
Which is a better offer? What would be a good option for growth wrt role, salary etc.
Also, PWC claims to offer variable based on their fixed CTC based on the ratings.. is this true ? How much is the avg percentage given?

Thanks in advance!
