A Y chromosome and a deep baritone 🙄

Tone of voice isn't as important as speaking with confidence. Posture is huge. Dressing nicely and looking well groomed. I know a 5'2 110 pound female who has an extremely commanding executive presence. It's all about how you carry yourself.

Wear 2.5 inch heels 🤗

i have a Y but not gifted with a deep baritone

That ^ is me! Thanks for the shout out PwC1 😁. It’s about owning your presence in the room. Also where do you sit and who do you engage with... makes a huge difference. If you’re eyeing an executive position, but you’re a junior person, question who you spend your time with. All the consulting networking events do provide value to people, as long as said ppl know how to work a room and have some objectives in mind.

Got a rejection email this morning after a second interview from last week. Happy Monday I guess. I'm not going to lie and say I had my hopes up, but I was hoping this could be the light for me at the end of the tunnel. Be honest my job has been making me really anxious and depressed where I really wanted this to be my way out. fuck this sucks

How are people going about assessing the quality of theirs stories? I can’t stop thinking about if I should scrap my current drafts and re-write with new themes - have no sense of all of whether my current ones are “good” 🤔
