Does anyone get fired for being behind on work? Meeting the target for hours but work is submitted late. I don’t mean after any litigation deadlines or limitation periods. Work just takes awhile to get done. Or is it just having low hours and the partners eventually stop giving you work?
What am I missing? This seems too good to be true...
I wanna do a debit spread where underlying ABC is at 200. I buy a call at 100 and sell a call at 110. Net debit is 6. Max profit is then 4.
Don't I make 400 per contract at expiry as long as ABC stays above 100?
Looking for group fitness/HIIT classes in NYC. Any good recs?? Preferably somewhere with early morning classes.
In my early 40s. Never had a chance to practice FIRE because of many family responsibilities (parents, siblings, etc). Never a big spender though but saving only about $1000 a month despite $200k+ pay.
Houses - close to paid off
401k - $200k
Investment - $50k
No other debt left
Going to have about $100k extra post tax income. What are the best way to start FIRE assuming I won’t increase my spending? And what’s a realistic target to retire at this point?
I'm facing problem in my job switch.
I'm looking for a job change with my profile change. I'm working as a Security Analyst in Tata Consultancy Services.
I have a good knowledge in android application development using Java.
The problem is that I have 3 years of working experience as a Security Analyst and now whenever a recruiter calls me they ask for Android experienced employee.
What should I do next? Thanks in advance 🙂

I am a junior advisor of a team in a book around 400mm, 3mm in revenue. When I was hired, I was told that my job was to be groomed to eventually take over the book. But now, the senior partner wants me to go out and prospect, saying things like we need to increase the revenue.. I think it’s because the senior partner doesn’t want to share anymore of her book. Current split is 90/10 but was supposed to continue to increase.
My question is— what is a reasonable split between a senior and junior bc

Any recruiters who were former account people (or even another discipline) and then switched to recruiting? What advice do you have for someone looking to make that switch?
I am the only immigrant with an accent in my office and it’s almost a daily thing now that my bosses/coworkers would explain terms to me that I already know. I’d often freeze when they do that because my first reaction is always confused. How do you talk about it with them after the fact especially when it seems like it’s not a big deal to them?
I want to get my masters in HR, but I also want to get my phr.. is it better to get one over the other? Or should I do both. Are there any masters hr program someone can recommend?

Hello all. I am new to the ideal. I finally landed a job where I think this is doable for me. Does anyone have any intro literature I can start reading?

Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years. There has been a mix of people leaving and people getting fired but the instability feels extreme.
