My best friend is a spin instructor and loves it. Brings in extra money, built in workouts, and is exposing her to the behind the scenes reality of fitness studio life because she would love to make that her full time job eventually.
Great idea especially for the BTS of studio business! I’m doing barre rn and plan to try to be a teacher in the future. I just dont feel too confident with my form yet to lead a class now.

I’ve gotten heavy into day/swing trading and option plays- with our current market the money has just been flowing in, especially tech which has had few dips and record high recoveries at neck breaking speed. If you’re worried about a crash (which has been impending for years now) keep your plays short term and do some hedge plays.

The market opens between 9:30-4 EST M-F, so you can do pre and post market trading if your day job hours concern you. I mention this because there is flexibility if you want to make money and say trade pre-market before work hours. The discords will vary in cadence, I’ve seen some that have Sunday evening meetups- others that connect pre-market hours to setup their plays for the day or the week, some that cater to day trade and others long term trades- it’s an a la carte menu that will serve you well if you do the initial leg work of learning what you want out of it- which goes back to my estimated 20 hrs/week of initial learning.
As I mentioned I’m now on auto pilot, I have found 4-5 stocks that I continuously rotate through, but that was through trial and error in the first few months of figuring out what worked for me, but I still made the time for it despite crazy work hours because well- money. If you’re asking about the mechanics of it- you can setup stocks to be purchased and sold at certain ask prices with a few variances if you want to be “hands off” during work hours/meetings (although WFH has made it too easy to check the markets and leave on background).
Expert calls - though these are super inconsistent and not a steady income stream.
Second expert calls. I do 1-2/month as well and charge $300/hr. My experience is in Corporate Finance/Supply Chain and see there’s quite an appetite when consultants do their DDs.
