Thank you all for your patience. I do appreciate it. It turns out having a side project while running multiple proposals is a trifle challenging. That said. I’m posting a first subset of the rawish data. In all close to 500 people took the survey, but a majority were from the Big Four. Here is the data from Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PWC. Insights to come! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1lN6JrxQfvA_MC4XFZ38G0ppQkBuxRv9mf88Y8NE2X2U/htmlview

Hi so got the verbal offer for Google for an L4 but I’m asked to give the first number of what I want for TC, I looked at levels.fyi and I see the average is 275k but I see as high as 388k, would it be ok to start with 350k and then work my way down? Or is that too absurd? Also, how do the RSUs work?

Whooo boy *cracks knuckles*
- constantly changes direction on a project mid-stream with little regard for timelines
- shows obvious favoritism towards team members. Bonus for completely ignoring certain people
- gives unclear feedback that sends team members spinning
- yells at team members (or sends nasty slack messages). Bonus if this is done in a group setting
- doesn’t set clear expectations on projects
- addresses people in a condescending manner for asking clarification questions
- racist/sexist general bullying
- can’t admit when they’re wrong or when subject matter is outside their area of expertise
spot on!!

Micromanagement. No ability to set boundaries.

Pitting people against each other and throwing their own people under the bus.
Some big red flags for me are:
Says yes to everything, doesn’t have a vision. Not delegating work well. Micromanagement with clear lack of trust.
