What are some subtle red flags to pass on working for a company/team?

One example was a panel of interviewers at a top tech company within FAANG (is it MAANG now?) constantly rubbing their temples in a stressful manner when talking about their day to day… Another was an interviewer telling me that the leader disregards other’s calendars, senior or not, because they should trust that whatever meeting she has is important… so thoughts?

Fed up with adhoc evaluation calls asked by my manager. every other day they give some profiles which need urgent evaluation.

Most of the times the candidate dont even respond and the other times they ask to schedule interviews. Why tcs doesn't have proper process for conducting telephonic interviews?
Candidates dont even trust sometimes that we are from technical team and they think we are some HR asking them if they are looking for a job.

Hi everyone! I’m a physics major with an associates in math and physics. I have two years before my bachelors in physics. I’m a veteran of USAF.

I want to get a high paying career to maintain the COL in San Diego.

Should I get a PhD in physics or is there anything out there for me at BS or MS level?

I don’t mind working in other quantitative fields outside physics. I have python, MATLAB, and Java experience.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed in my new role. Came from an old school way of EA supporting where technology tools where sparse and the environment was more paper driven and face to face contact. I have moved to a new EA role with less personal contact and highly digital. Most of the software used I am not familiar with completely foreign to me. What do I do? Do I sit it out and push myself or do I start looking for something else that is more of a fit?

Hey fellow EA’s, need some advice. I currently support a top C suite exec at a large firm (and have a few additional execs, who are mostly low maintenance at least while we’re still remote). I regularly get asked to help 2 other senior execs since they don’t have assistants, but that’s been manageable so far. I applied to work for my dream company as an EA and the interview process was going well. They loved me but did not think I was a good fit for the role I applied for. They did however think I would be a good fit for another role opening up in a few weeks. I expressed that I was open to the role but I have not heard back since. It has been about a month. I feel like I made a big mistake accepting my EA role at my company. I was told I would not be doing personal errands often for the CEO, but now I am picking his daughter up from school and getting his designer curtains custom hemmed. Coworkers have included me in their projects, & he is now removing me from those bc “they take up too much of my time”, when they are the only tasks I enjoy bc I am actually adding value to the company. Idk what to do bc he “seems to be my way or the highway”.
