So Sanofi is setting up an analytics center in Hyderabad and seems to be recruiting quiet aggressively. I am negotiating on an offer but it quite low compared to industry standards. Does anybody have any idea how it is? They seems to have barely anything set up as of now. Sanofi Eli Lilly and Company ZS Associates

As a first year, mid levels I prefer to work with are the ones who will take time out of their day to explain to me the answer to my question, no matter how dumb or basic it is. It’s easy to forget how scary/overwhelming being a first year is and mid levels who remember that and try to help are the best ones yet. Also, timeliness to answering questions.
Lastly, don’t make snide comments no matter how easy it is. One snide comment is enough to make some juniors wary of asking you questions or coming to you at all.
From a junior perspective, the mid levels I like to work with are patient and clear in their teaching/briefing. Don’t snap or make snide remarks or roll your eyes at us openly - signs of contempt are scary. A cherry on top would be a positive comment once in a while if we do something right - it makes all the difference and engenders rapport.

"Thx" is not an acceptable way to say thank you.
Letting me know what’s coming down the pipeline. I appreciate when a midlevel tells me all of the sub tasks that will be involved in a larger task so that I can plan ahead and so I can also get started on other things while waiting for feedback on the first tasks. I hate when I submit something and keep getting never ending “next, can you do this” emails when they could have just given me a list to work through or at least a heads up. It helps me know for example how late I will be up or whether I have to cancel weekend plans, etc. being able to plan ahead even somewhat is invaluable.
Yes. When things are coming in Friday afternoon, I appreciate a heads up if it’ll go into the evening/weekend. Also, I worked with a great senior who told me that for example she was going to stop working around 7pm on a particular Friday and pick it back up in the morning, so I could decide if I wanted to do the same, based on whether my work depended on her being online or not. I ended up telling her that I was going to work late that night and flip the doc to her when I was done and would probably take some time away from the computer in the morning. Worked out great.
Responsiveness. Not going completely MIA and expecting me to just figure it out
So, sometimes it’s pretty difficult to timely respond to junior questions when you’re getting hit from all angles (client, partner, specialists, phone calls, etc.). Not everyday, but some weeks it’s just hard. Last week was like that for me (5th year amlaw 100 firm).
I end up just calling the junior when I have time to try and work out answers to their questions live so that I don’t have another email to respond to. Is that annoying for y’all?
Bless you. Even just asking this question shows you care about your subordinates, which isn’t universal, unfortunately.

Don’t keep me in the shadows. If you get an assignment from a partner and pass it on to me, at least copy me on the email when you send it to the partner (or toss in a small “thanks” shout out somewhere in your email”)
Explain why it is you’re changing what you’re changing. If you get upset with the Junior, be clear as to why so they can not upset someone more senior doing the same thing. If you’re still on matters where you’re the Junior one, think about some good habits you’re exhibiting and remember to tell the Junior you like those practices and why they are helpful to everyone on your team
