Is there a way to access 401k funds in early retirement without a penalty? Been contemplating getting out of this rat race.
I make $4000/M after taxes and max 401K and spend about $2400 for all fixed costs (rent, utilities, etc). With roughly $1600 left, and with a strong goal of saving as much as I can, what are some recommendations on how I should allocate my money better. I know this is vague but need some better financial planning.
Realized I’ve been contributing all post tax dollars to my 401k for the past 1.5 years. Am I able to convert this to a roth somehow? What kind of tax liability might I have? Should I switch to pre tax contributions?
Is the per diem at Accenture higher for managers? I don’t want to have to try to eat off of $25/day…
How does maxing out on Deloitte 401k plan benefit you on annual company matching amount? I already have traditional 401k and I am debating whether to contribute extra on Roth 401k or Roth IRA?
Any recommendations to speed things up? I often feel like others in FIRE have their finances growing faster. I’m living at home with parents during covid and able to save/invest ~90% of my post-tax income. I put ~40% into retirement accounts (401k, backdoor roth, mega backdoor roth), ~10% into brokerage, and ~40% towards savings for a down payment (planning to buy a home EOY). Any advice?
Exiting my firm and giving my 2 weeks notice soon. Will I be eligible to my benefits through the 2 weeks even if they prefer I don’t work my notice period?

3 years post-undergrad in biopharmaceutical consulting and applying to get my mba this fall. I’m considering healthcare investment banking as a post-mba career, as I enjoy the M&A process of banking. What exit opportunities exist? I’ve seen the posts about post-mba IB and they’re not all that encouraging.
Hi McKinsey folks, I’m looking for a referral or just to talk to someone about the healthcare side at the firm! Please reach out and you have feedback or tips :)

Would love some advice - during Covid, I transitioned to a smaller firm that had some great things to offer but has almost zero experience dealing with attorney maternity leave. They agreed to create a policy during the hiring process, and the administrator did come talk to me at some point after my hire to say they had settled on a policy and some paid leave, which is great, but they never verified in writing and the paid period was pretty short (maybe a month or 6 weeks). Anyone have any insight into Success Manager roles at Salesforce? Trying to get a sense of comp, wlb, etc. Specifically looking at a position in the national security sector. TIA!
Does anyone's significant other unable to WFH complain about us having it easy? I tell her we are getting even more work and add to the fact that I'm also taking care of a 1 year old while shes at work. I feel it's kind of unfair because when shes home I help out but when shes at work its me doing everything on top of work. Just ranting, I love my wife and knows she works hard as a healthcare prosessional. It just gets a lil frustrating sometimes.
Anyone recently moved to Facebook from consulting? I was told before going into a loop that I will be considered for an M1 role? What kind of total comp (base/bonus/rsu) am I looking at? Role will be in New York.
