What are the benefits of doing a masters in CS? I’m seeing a lot of developers around me doing the online masters from Georgia Tech (OMSCS) for example

Has anyone considered Executive Masters program instead of EMBA? For example the one from Brown University for Tech and Innovation?

2020 fall admit here. Many of my main drivers for business school have been impacted by COVID-19, such as getting back on campus and meeting new people. Concerned I’ll be wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity starting b-school likely virtual. How have others approached the decision of going, deferring, or not going? I am a PharmD currently pursuing an MHA and a certificate in data analytics.

I have Pharma and healthcare experience.

Feeling de-motivated as a consultant in healthcare. Doesn’t feel like a lot of the work I do actually helps patients or make anyone’s life better, which was the whole draw when I started 5+ years ago. I also sometimes feel stifled bc healthcare doesn’t have the $ and growth opps that I see my peers that work in other industries. Anyone ever feel this way?

I feel like the folks I see that work at Salesforce (for example) do this constantly and more so than other big companies.

I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.

They are essentially the same thing (correct me if I’m oversimplifying) with the main difference being 401ks are provided by employers. I'm interviewing at stripe and looking for some guidance on the TC I should push for. I'm an L6 at google non-tech with 10 YOE but in a fairly niche / sought after role. I'm based in a tier 2 Midwest location but It seems like stripe doesn't care as much about this. Anyone have a similar story?

Has anyone here been through the clearance process for TSC Full Scope Poly? I have had mine in process for quite some time now. The last status check I got was pending adjudication. I just finished my 1st year in my role. I converted in this position after an internship. I’m not happy with my pay. I make 57k now but I’m a top performer. I work hard and I have great communication skills and am already training new hires. Is it worth looking elsewhere for a job if I only have 1yr experience?
