Right now I work for PSCU and I make $20/hr as a service desk tech. PatientPoint just offered me a job for an L2 position @ $24/hr. PSCU came back and gave me a counter-offer of pulling me in as a direct-hire, $2k sign-on bonus, and $21/hr.

PSCU is 100% remote and PatientPoint is 3 days in-office 2 days remote.

I can't for the life of me decide what to do.

The L2 thing is exciting.

PSCU is a non-profit. Glassdoor seems to favor PSCU.

I have a client who is an emerging growth company. This will be the 1st year we’re looking at their SOX controls. The internal audit department who designed & tests the controls reports to the controller (not the board). Does this mean that we can’t rely upon their work since there isn’t a distinct independence between IA and Mgmt? The companies I worked for are small businesses (Less than 100 employees) so I’ve had to wear many hats (e-mail, print, social media management & ads, and very little google analytics and ads).
