Perot Museum would be a good one. Maybe Great Wolf Lodge.

Great Wolf Lodge, KidZania, Crayola Experience, Hawaiian Falls, Play Street Museum, Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium

Dallas is trash. Looking to move out soon.

Yes it is a boring city .. and with out a world class university ( denver could be another on that front ) .. need to take a flt to get to any meaningful touristic place ..
it has its positives, not public high schools ( but public schools till middle school ) .. good enough shopping and food

like

Fossil Rim

Some place with A/C.

Perot Museum is wonderful! Kids 7 an up really get the most out of it, but good for all ages (I love going! )

Dallas World Aquarium is also a fine choice (and 1 bock away from Perot)

The#1 Dallas tourist attraction is the Texas Schoolbook Depository where JFK was shot from (or was he? ) best for ages 10 and up. Just watch out for crazies who think JFK Jr / Elvis / JFK / Jesus will be coming back to that site to revive the GOP (seriously, avoid them! )

Great Wolf Lodge is very fun for kids up to probably 13. Outside Dallas.

Foot Worth Museum of Science and History has an awesome IMAX theater and great exhibits (outside Dallas)

I think Legoland (outside dallas) is also indoors.

If you enjoy heatstroke, the Fort Worth zoo is better than Dallas. Hurricane Harbor is a great water park. Six Flags is a great huge amusement park. Hiking (early!) In the Great Trinity Forest is wonderful (don't stop for supplies on your way there).

None of these (except GTF) is cheap.

Be safe! We started with Temps above 100 last week, and there is no end in sight for the next 3.5 months. We aren't as humid as Houston, but this is NOT a dry heat.

A few places offer trail rides - the horses are really calm and already know the way so hard to mess it up

Whatever you decide, make sure it’s indoors - otherwise the heat will fry you

Fort Worth Zoo

I second this. We have been there multiple times and always enjoy the trip.

It’s so insanely hot. What are the ages of your kids?

World Aquarium is really quite nice, Top Golf maybe, Fossil Rim?

What are the ages?? I just took a staycation with my little guy last week—Dallas Zoo is pretty awesome, and they have a Dino Safari right now that is fun (but it’s super hot…).
Like others mentioned, Perot Museum is great! Dallas World Aquarium is across the street from Perot Museum and it’s also fun.
If your kids like trains, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad is awesome.
For a water park, Great Wolf Lodge is fun.
If the kids are older, they’d probably prefer Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor.
Have fun!!

Visit fossil rim, they will love it

Water parks

Here’s something different: Heard Museum in McKinney has dinosaur walk-hills concept. It’s really fun for kids 4-10 y.o. It can get pretty hot though since it’s outdoor.

I haven’t visted dallas in a long time. Hope this helps: https://familydestinationsguide.com/fun-things-to-do-dallas-kids/

The grand scape is fun, they have shopping and activities. Reunion tower also boasts stellar views of Dallas. Take in a Ranger game if you can. The ball park is air conditioned now. Perot is amazing for kids.

Let’s settle this debate once and for all. If a staff member rolls off to another engagement (due to finishing scheduled time), is he still obligated to help on the previous engagement (clear review notes of his areas, help with additional working papers, etc.)? If not, should it affect his performance if he does not help even though he was a great staff member? This question applies to staff members who have various clients during the year (6-8+ clients).
