What are the best online design courses out there? (Free or paid, doesn’t matter).

I love worked in tech my whole life so have a great resume, I’m moving to the USA in the next few months, I don’t have a university degree. Am I screwed or are tech companies in the US less concerned about degrees and will factor experience more?

So I am working as a UI UX designer since Jan22. I started with a really good project (everything from the scratch) with research, knowing the user etc. The project went really well. It was my first project that I handled individually. I got another project it also went well. Then I was told to work directly with a client, it's been 2 months already we work late hours and also on weekend (asked by the client). It feels like my personal life is gone. Do you think I should change job?

So I’m 32 weeks. I’m finding it very difficult to breathe and it’s hard to explain. I have normal pregnancy congestion especially at night but throughout the whole day too when I breathe (not congested or through my mouth) it feels like my lungs don’t take in enough oxygen and I don’t feel like I’ve actually taken a breathe, if that makes any sense at all. I’ve also been choking a lot recently not sure if related. Anyone else or am I just weird?

Been 3 months since I joined Luxoft and I am assigned to a backward DXC project. The lead is oppressive and bossy. There is no work-life balance and 9:30 hours of work is not enough for them. My probation period is going to end soon. Should I inform my Luxoft manager and tell him to change my project right now ? Or shall I wait for him to end my probation period ?

I was “terminated” from one of the shitty IT conglomerates from India today. for no reason at the same time I’m furious because I have documented all the discrimination , sexism, harassment, labor laws broken, intimidation tactics , harassment of various kinds including sexual, so I am demanding a larger severance package the. What they offered which was nothing. I have documented all proof of this. They have consistently set me up in situations designed for me to fail.

Has anyone ever been a victim to a team member’s jealousy? I have this person on my team who tears apart my work in front of all the creative directors. It makes me look bad.. I can’t help but take her comments personally. I can’t help but think there’s some jealousy- she has so much energy to rip someone apart. Sometimes I am envious of other positions unrelated to design. Portfolios are tough, time consuming, and expensive! I’ve invested over half a k in the last two years fixing and redesigning my portfolio website, and that doesn’t include the time I put into it!

I wouldn’t change my profession in a heart beat but odd how it feels like we are the only group of professionals that has to invest money just to present our work.
