What are the best things to do in the Boston area during the summer? I'm very new and originally from Nevada so don't really have a pulse on New England summer.

-Walk by the Charles and have pizza at figs
-haymarket farmers’ in the evening when it’s about to close (prices are cheaper) followed by dinner or cannolis and coffee in the north end
-Somerville and Cambridge are great areas to walk around enjoying the weather (pop into any restaurant for food)
- Farmers market on Saturday in Somerville in near union square followed by dinner/drinks at Bow Market (great momos available at two Nepali joints near there)
-sitting in the courtyard in Boston Public library
-Shakespeare plays in Boston Common (great, reasonably price middle eastern food available at Black seed cafe and grill)
-There’s a lot more if you are willing to venture out of the city and have a car

Enjoy! This is the best time of year here!

Find a friend with a cape house. The vineyard and Nantucket too if you’re real lucky.

Go up to the northshore, especially rockport, Gloucester, and Ipswich. (Pictured here is crane beach)

If you have a car then New England as a whole has so much to offer - in every season tbh! You can rent a house by the water in Maine and spend a week working remotely from Boothbay Harbor (and kayaking all day) or anywhere on the Maine coast. It’s glorious!

Personally my fave Boston summer thing is all of the pop-ups - Trillium and City Winery on the Greenway, Owl’s Nest on the Esplanade, Downeast outdoor taproom, etc.

Gotta visit Cisco seaport in the summer at least a couple times if a lot of young people is your vibe. Cape Cod weekends are fun. Owl nest then an evening walk by the Charles River is always nice.

Cisco Seaport, Owl’s Nest, Trillium at Fenway, a game and/or concert at Fenway, spend a beach day at Carson Beach in Southie, hike in the Fells or the Blue Hills…get on the water - try the Tupelo Honey. Throw back oysters at Legal Harborside then hit the roof deck at Envoy. Hit up Wollaston Beach in the Q, then feast on fried clams at the Clam Box.

Welcome friend! Take the Amtrak to Portland Maine for a long weekend - amazing food and beer. You can also take the Ferry to P-Town which is a lot of fun

If you can manage to go to cape cod, do it! But it’s hard to find a place to stay unless it’s for a week. I’m sort of new to Boston as well and picked up hiking, camping, and biking if that’s your jam! The summers here are gorgeous and not too hot or rainy.

Take a duck boat ride! Hit up a Sox game or a concert at Fenway/Gillette.

Question for those in federal cyber at KPMG, EY,Grant Thornton,Accenture, Deloitte. How are the teams Structured on cloud projects? I understand that cyber teams sometimes are structured differently. Is it the traditional structure on a project like a totem pole, where you have one manager, one senior consultant (lead), followed by associates? It seems like for Deloitte cyber teams mostly consist of senior consultants, working together as a cohort rather than reporting to one lead. 🧐Curious

Have an upcoming interview for Tech strategy consultant with Deloitte. Recruiter mentioned 1 case and 2 behavioral interviews. Really appreciate if someone can share their experience and also touch on the following -
1) Case - will this be tech focused or random case interview? Is it similar to McK interview?

2) Behavioral - Typically how many questions per interview? Do they Grill and ask lot of followups? Appreciate a couple of examples

Recruiter wasn't as helpful. THANK YOU! Deloitte
