When I was a 2L interviewing for law firms the managing partner of a large Charlotte firm remarked, "We really need to make all associates update their profile pictures. I was really excited to meet with one today and when she got to my office I realized she was a cow." None of the associates/partners at the table even blinked an eye.

Just had an hiring manager straight out declare that they need several months and ballpark of 30 (!) interviews to hire someone. It’s not even a crazy prestigious firm. In this job market. Thoughts? How can someone be so out of touch? It sounded like a dealbreaker to me considering everyone is interviewing with multiple firms at the moment (at least I am) and I see no valid rationale for that long of a process.
