How much does it cost to buy into Big 4 as a partner?

I am a Web Developer based in Grand Rapids, MI. My primary focus is Magento development and managing / building the 7 sites my company owns. I do front and back-end development. I got a raise from $12.50 an hour as an intern to $22 an hour 6 months before I got my degree. I was happy with this raise initially. A year later, I am 6 months out of my degree and have 3 years of experience at this company. They gave me a 5% raise which puts me a $24 an hour. Is this fair considering I got my degree.

I am currently doing my full-time internship at a startup where I am getting paid 17$/hr. I will most probably be continuing with them in Fall as a part-time and asked for an upgrade to 25$/hr. I asked for that upgrade because I already have around two years of experience outside of Canada as a social media executive in a multinational company. Frustrated with spouse. I feel that he always puts friends above family. He spent Christmas with friends away from me and family. Although he asked and I said it was fine I want him to know better. We spent time together and with family Christmas Eve but again he invited a friend. He also left thanksgiving early to go hang out with friends. Does BDO UK gives mobile phones just like other big 4’s?

Newer big 4 partner here and have young kids that are homeschooling (not voluntarily) while I WFH (also not voluntarily). I’ve done everything in my power to minimize any effect WFH could have on my availability to my team, but have recently received feedback that a couple of my female team members didn’t think that I was responding fast enough to their requests. This seemed overly harsh to me, but want to know if other women are annoyed with their female bosses b/c of this too? Honesty welcome.

So I recently started a position with Fox. When it was presented to me in interview, I was told I would be working aligned with Fox Sports & Entertainment, not so much News. Now that I’m here, I’m seeing everything I’ll be doing is with the News team & makes me uncomfortable. No diversity, outdated software & process.

Hired at a tech company based out of SF for a remote role. I am east coast based - should I have gotten it in writing that the role is and will be remote?
