What are the chances coronavirus relaxes audit deadlines? It’s hard to imagine taking the audit to completion given that all parties involved are working from home indefinitely.

SEC published guidance on this

Was wondering the same thing. Doubt it will happen unless it gets really bad (like teams losing people because they need to take time off to recover from corona).

I don’t think they will change it just because we’re all working from home.

It’s even more important to keep working and keep billing fro services. Otherwise the firms start losing money and they will start thinking about layoffs :(

Had anyone here planned a wedding in 3 months or less? Am I crazy? I’m already legally married (small wedding during Covid) but looking to throw a larger celebration of sorts. Originally wanted next spring but my husband and I are wanting to start trying for kids and so I’m leaning this fall or it’ll have to potentially wait until after we have our first kiddo (don’t want to risk a spring date and end up pregnant ha). So is it crazy to think I can plan something for this fall?

Hi! I’ve been working 100% remote since March 2020, which I initially hated but have since gotten used to. My company is now transitioning back to working in the office and I find it really exhausting to work from that space, much more so than wfh and much more than I ever did when I worked 100% from the office. Has anyone else felt similarly drained by returning to the office after wfh during Covid?

I know a lot of people who got their start in the LA ad scene probably got their start by going to the Bookshop Ad School. And if they began there, they’d know Mike Whitlow. A man whose heart and love for teaching was as big as his laugh.

Sadly, last week Mike Whitlow passed away. I’m posting this here because I feel many here probably owe their careers to this amazing man and thought people might want to pay their respects.

RIP, Mike.

Fairly new to investing. For folks that have been in the game for quite some time, what sort of information do you look for in determining whether a company is a good investment or not, whether the price point is high or there’s still room to run, etc. If someone said ABC is a good investment, when doing your DD, what do you look for and why? Any links or books/courses you’ve used would also be appreciated.
