What are the chances that the 4/15 deadline gets extended again? With Biden as president I can see the democrats pushing for it, but I can also see the states pushing against it. So I feel it’s 60/40 that it gets extended. Thoughts?

Unrealistic since the work can be done remotely and in person with masks. If this just happened like it did in the spring I understand, but we’ve had a full year to prepare for next season.

Good point. I was just thinking that with the virus numbers not really slowing down and the vaccine likely not being widely available, that they might push it again.

Just file an extension. Then the chances are 100%

Hell no. No more extensions. COVID extensions made my life hell

Don't even put that out there for the universe to hear.

I wish they would just make it a 10/15 deadline and be done. No extensions, filing is open is from 02/15 thru 10/15 and done.

Y'all remember when there used to be an 8/15 1040 deadline? Used to need 2 extensions.

Nooooo don’t put that bad juju out there

like

Why would the Dems be pushing for it? Doubt it will happen. There's not nearly as much panic as there was this past March/April.

My guess would be another extension. I think we are going to be in the same or worse situation come Feb/Mar than we were when the 2019 extensions got announced.

Do internships count towards years of experience? I held my first design internship in 12th grade (2016), and have since held at least one internship per semester throughout college, all related to my career path - but they were all part time. In my last semester of college (May 2020 grad), I worked as a full time contractor for 18mos. I freelanced after, before working as an FTE the past year.

When asked how many years of experience I have, how should I answer?

Thanks in advance!

I used to pay $99 a year for Hootsuite all of the sudden they auto billed me $588 for the same pro plan. They sent me an email stating I was getting a lot of features they had upgraded through the years and had to raise the price. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you find another source to use instead of Hootsuite? Are they fair in pricing?

I’m contracting with a company in an admin role, but sometimes I’m asked to do projects that would normally be outsourced to a marketing or design company like designing a flyer for example. It’s not in my job description, but I have the skills to do this work and so why not ask me to do it? Is it out of the question to ask if I can be paid for that work under a separate fee as a consultant or something? Is that even possible?

Very important question: Haagen Das or Ben and Jerry's? I hope this doesn't cause division. 😂🤪

Hi friends,
I just wanted to share what I feel for the few months. No drive in my life, been in depression phase.I have recently resigned form the job. I am planning for a career switch, it's been 2 months now. Nothing is going in the right way, feeling very low and no confidence at all. Negativity from the family , relatives constantly invading me for the joblessness. Now I am at my home watching my friends moving abroad, me at the zero level.

Is it unethical as realtors working in an office to block chunks of time off for personal reasons? Some of my coworkers stay in their desks for up to 10 hours, but I've taken up the habit of blocking at least 1 hour daily for lunch, breaks, and other issues that may arise. Do you do this as well or do you prefer to work straight through your day?
