What are the common exit opportunities for IT Audit?

Currently a B4 mgmt consultant (healthcare, non-finance) and want to end up in social impact investing (healthcare, emerging economies).

Is the best route to go through PE or HF to get the skillsets needed? Know it’s an uphill battle

I’m a senior in undergrad and didn’t get any consulting offers during the fall recruiting cycle. Do any of you have advice for entering consulting post-grad, or do you know if any firms still recruit in the spring?

(Additional context: I have a back office offer at a good firm, but I really wanted to explore consulting for a more diverse skill set. Would it be difficult to transition to consulting after working here for a year or two? Would I be considered an experienced hire?)

As a Deloitte sponsored mba I’m prevented from interning at another consulting firm. What would be the best industry to intern in to set me up best for MBB in the fall of the 2nd year? IB? Tech?

Any insight on getting MBA from mendoza as far as prospects for transitioning into a post-mba strategy consulting role? It’s ranked outside the top 15 but from research seems like it still sends plenty of grads to top consulting firms (not MBB)

How much should I have saved up for a $400-$500k house in a LCOL city?

With the housing market increasing like crazy and inflation I am having anxiety that I won’t be able to afford a nice home. I am in my early 20s, making $90k TC. In a DINK with ~$150k TC. 1: Grant Thornton Senior Consultant- role involves IA co-sourcing and outsourcing and occasionally some ERM work (risk assessment) etc. Clients in various industries except FS
2:PWC Senior Associate- role involves implementation of SOX controls for FS clients

Which role would you choose and which do you think has greater exit opportunities?

My background is mainly in IA of both financial and operational controls.

Anyone have any insight on the Financial Crimes units in the B4? Considering making a lateral move!
