What are the companies today that will train you to be a great manager? I know that GE, P&G, and Danaher have had that reputation in the past. I think it would be interesting to try a rotation program

I think that was pre-2008. Training in the last decade has been defined as, “Here’s your laptop and phone, go figure it out.”

P&G is the absolute worst do not go there if you have a soul

Why is that? I’ve always thought they were good!

I hear Bosch, GEICO, and Textron all have great leadership development programs.

The pay was the reason I didn’t accept, no room for negotiation either. That’s the price you pay for working in Aerospace and Defense

I've heard Coca-cola has a great program

You won’t find leadership development in consulting. Typically have to go into the military or a manufacturing company to find cultures that emphasize leadership development.

Try MBB or a high end boutique Strat house

I had friends out of MBA who joined Liberty Mutual and AT&T in their leadership development programs.

I recently joined JPMc Blr in risk CCB and contrary to all the good reviews of wlb in JPMc my wlb is Shit. Just joined 45 days back and on most if the days I am working till 12 or 1 in the night. Most of the work that I do is creating 'urgent ' dashboards on excel. Since I do not get enough sleep, most of the days I have pain in my head. My work is only going to increase in future, already thinking to switch. Only problem is I will have to repay relocation money which is 2L. What should I do?

I have been at the current hospital I work at in administration for about 11 years now. I am treated great, love the people and love the hours. They allow me to really create my own schedule based on my needs and have taken great care of me over the past 11 years. The only problem is that our CEO has stated that we will never be a company that gives yearly raises, merit based or cost of living. I have been offered another job with a competing hospital but scared to leave. Advise?
