What are the current processing times for PWD certification from DOL for PERM applications? Did anyone hear back recently and when was the PWD filed for you?
My PWD was filed in June 2022 and is still pending with DOL.

Having a conversation with a start up about joining. They’re telling me the normal ‘it’s keep the lights on plus equity’, but they’ve raised 800M… I haven’t spent any time in the start up space, so not sure if there’s any general standards for this type of situation. Anyone else have experience here?

I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.
I will do MBA also post working in one of these firms.

How bad is the situation of getting H1 extensions in the North East

I plan on traveling to Mexico for a vacation. I have an expired h1b visa based on an old h1b petition. My h1b was renewed after my last stamping so my valid h1b petition has a different petition number than that in my most recent visa stamp. Would this impact my eligibility for automatic visa revalidation?

Is it okay to take couple days off when switching jobs on h1b? Planning to take ~7-10 days off before I join new firm. And also planning to go out of country during that time. Would that be an issue?

Hey Folks, My dad has US visitor visa and in past he visited us alone but had several issues during his stay ( he has multiple preexisting conditions) This time I want to find a way to bring his caretaker with him for the duration of his stay. My lawyers only sent me a copy of the i797 c receipt. However they sent me the original i797 approval. Will this be a problem during the visa stamping?

Tried to renew my driver's license while H1B extension is still being processed. I have letter from my employer stating my legal status is good for 240 days and receipt showing extension application submitted. Still got denied at the DMV. They said I need the new I 797. Anyone else experienced this? I am based in NJ and looking for advice to navigate this situation to get my DL renewed.
