I know they have an annual bonus as well as share plans. Plus there are all of the usual perks.

like

By share plans does it mean an employee can buy them at regular intervals or would they be issued after certain tenure?

I've seen annual bonuses, share plans, meal perks, the London office had box seats at certain venues etc

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

I have a job interview on Friday for a corporate law firm, that would be a safe choice if I got the job for financial reasons, but not really a role I’m interested in. However, I just submitted two applications for companies I have strong interest in. I’m nervous that if I do get an offer from the safe choice, and then end up getting an interview/offer from one of my dream companies what will I do then?

I graduate in 8 months but have been working at a boutique M&A bank for a year now full time. I got my licensing and a return offer which outlines a promotion to Associate after 1 year. The hours are decent and I work hand in hand with my MD (all of them are very well established) so I’m very grateful. But, I feel like I’m going to plateau here eventually and I have a desire to move to nyc and to a bigger bank but I’d have to start as a first year analyst. Could use some advice on the tradeoffs.
