Internal Audit or other corporate finance roles (FP&A, Treasury, management reporting). You could pivot into a financial due diligence role (earnings quality validation)

I do want to highlight—exiting to other roles in corp fin or FDD may require a step back in comp/title. Better to take those exits earlier than you’d expect (eg associate level, rather than manager)

Technical accounting, financial reporting, internal audit.

Thank you!

Hey fishes,

Please note that you should NOT APPLY to a job on your own before asking for a referral at Amazon. In such cases the referral is deemed invalid.
Only candidates whose application is primarily submitted through referral are considered valid.

Anybody out here know of any “development programs” for mid career professionals looking to transition to sales? Have a data/analytics b/g., but I’m much more social than a “typical” data/analytics person. We have a program at my company that I’m networking to get into, but believe it’s prudent to diversify options, as there is obviously no guarantee that they select me for the program.

I’m a 28 year old male, living with gf. I think I’ve got covid - very feverish, cough, hot and cold sweats, pains etc. When I get sick I turn into a massive baby - definition of “man flu”. Is this a massive problem for women (ie a big turn off)? Luckily I only get sick once every 2-3 years, but this feels awful and I’m being a massive sook and I can’t help it lol…

Looking for advice:
My dept has 2 directors. One is so rude. The other ignores the issue. The previous HR director told me to report any issues because she was building a case (not appropriate info to share, I know). She's since left and there's a new HR director. This rude guy has recently sent me several very rude things through email and I'm debating how to handle it. Is it worth it to talk to HR? Im worried it'll just make things worse since none of it is "wrong", just rude and insensitive.
