2017 raises and bonuses at ey
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Buy a 1994 Toyota Camry for 700 dollars and drive it for 14 years before passing it down to your children
Why not just get a rental that your project pays for?
Are they going to comp mileage? Most companies I’ve worked for even if project is considered local comp you the mileage beyond your commute to your local office. I’d suggest get a cheap used Honda or something for <$5k that’s easy to dump when you’re done driving it. Do you have parking expenses associated with your home?

2. how practical is the car I want
3. how much is insurance going to run me
4. will I want this car in five years
5. is this a me car or a potential family car
6. are repairs overly expensive (yes if a foreign vehicle) 7. what’s the depreciation on the make/model
8. does it hold its value for resale
9. Is anyone else going to drive it
10. How is the car going to be driven: work, recreational, etc
