They will have to pay for their portion of taxes in Asia and you in the country where you have your company based at least you open or own a company in Asia. You will have to budget for the portion of international taxes and also for currency exchange. I do not have experience with Asian markets, they usually charge less that’s why most of the big tech companies have their call centers there among others. Brazil for instance has one of the worse fiscal politics and they charge extra taxes for everything.

Since George Floyd's murder and the sudden Corporate America "wokeness," I (black guy) have been routinely contacted by unacquainted Partners who explicitly state something to the effect "Client X wants diversity, so we'd like you on this deal..." It really comes across as tone deaf and completely patronizing. I appreciate the efforts to diversity (albeit forced), but Partners really need to learn how to not be so supercilious in the approach. You don't have to overtly state that I'm the quota.

Can someone give me advice or words of encouragement here? I’m feeling quite burned out. Here are the details: - I’ve been on my current project for over a year now - on my 3rd work stream on the project - due to team dynamics it doesn’t really make sense for me to roll off and have someone else roll on to take my place - It’s not even the number of hours I’m working that makes me feel burned out, I just am sick of this same project every day for a year

Noticed yesterday morning the the role had been newly posted on LinkedIn (day after interview).
