What are the most comfortable shoes that I can wear while working? I stand so much and my current footwear is not cutting it

Crocs, I am very comfortable, now I don't know how much permission you have at work to wear them.

In our case we have the obligation to use a certain type of shoes for the image of the company, they are a type of casual/sporty shoes but they still cause discomfort, so I ask you, have you tried to use insoles inside your shoes?

Some Reebok sports shoes for runners are the most comfortable I have ever had and they are super functional, try to look for runners because there are different types.

There are casual shoes that are special for comfortable use, these types of shoes are usually a bit expensive but they are very good and last a long time, regarding the dress code they are the best option.

In order to recommend any brand or type of footwear I think I need you to tell me first if your company has a dress code.

Something that frustrates me in collaborating with others is that I've found others tend to prefer 'yes-anding' and building off a single idea, whereas I prefer to explore a range of ideas/solutions first, then evaluate/build. I often get frustrated because I'll feel we've done insufficient exploration and while our output is collaborative it's not as good as it could be. How can I adjust my attitude since I seem to be in the minority on how to collaborate with others / produce collective work?

My boss is a smart rainmaker for the organization. But she bullies people to get her way and doesn’t let people express their opinions. She is very high up and I don’t know what to do. I don’t trust HR and fear it getting back to her and the retribution.

Is it just my company or do you all need to send constant follow up emails to other departments to get a response as well?

I feel that some departments either do not respect the legal team or are just poor at communicating. Either way, this has become an issue at work lately, and I’m wondering if this is commonplace in house.

Any recommendations on how to deal?

I am a field marketer. I travel and cover 12 states. HQ is across the US on the east coast. My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I stood up and asked to be included on available dates and said I will attend virtually but asking me to be away for 4 additional full days away from my family without asking me is not OK. I already travel a lot and this boundary is super important to me. Am I right or wrong?

Hey Copywriters, Have you partnered with that guy who’s fun, open and collaborative one day, but then the next day he overthinks every word and the strategy so much you can’t get anything done?

Potentially dumb question but what is the time expectation in returning emails to opposing counsel? (Even if it’s just a “I received it and will address it later.”) I try to respond to all internal emails (or emails to clients) in an hour but not sure what the professional expectation is for opposing counsel.

At what level of comp is it worth it to have a toxic work culture? Currently at 120k in a MCOL w/no income tax, if I stay earning potential can easily double in 1-2 years but work 80+ hours and people are all miserable. I have an offer for the same comp, love the people and would be max working 60 hours but only when it’s super busy but normally 40-50 hours; earning potential in 1-2 would probably be 150-175k. Staying in would help getting to FIRE but feel like it’s not worth it. Thoughts?
