They are postponing my joining stating a strange BGV pending issue.

I have lost a months salary already. Still they are keep on postponing.

For 9.5 years of experience, ibm offered me 15 fixed..as it's first offer I accepted the same.. from Accenture i received 17+ 27% vp..asked counter offer to ibm..they finally come and said..there won't be change in financial structure to match with Accenture.

I recently graduated with a bachelors in finance, and have recently got hired (5 months ago) as a financial analyst. Realistically I do FP&A for a company. I have realized I am not a huge fan of doing non stop spreadsheet all day. Am thinking I’d enjoy my career more by becoming a financial planner and getting my CFP certification. After a long and extensive interview process (2 months & 12 rounds of interviews) I finally heard back that they are very interested in offering me the job. My Current base is $135k (in NJ) and my ask is $180K (in NYC). But base comp ceiling for the position grade is $165k and they are willing to offer one time payment to make up for the gap between the offer & the ask. Any thoughts? The role has very upward potential in next couple of years.

Got a healthcare hedge fund analyst offer with 150K base and up to 250K bonus. With comp increase potential but no clear path to be promoted to portfolio manager given the fund size.
