Teladoc. Look at their stock in recent months. Frankly, I don’t see any more cheap buys in telehealth. Lots of speculation has them trading at unreasonable multiples IMO

Interesting question is whether now that provider systems have discovered the potential for virtual care to seamlessly integrate with their brick and mortar, whether they move seriously into this space, making the Teladocs of the world utilities (pipe companies) or not.
The principal weakness of Teladoc is that you don’t really know who the doctor on the other end is... and for a zpac or a suburn that’s probably fine. But for more serious matters patients probably want some assurance of quality.
Further, urgent care guys like Carbon are also offering virtual.
I personally don’t know that Teladoc has an insurmountable head start.

Segmentation of patient population by acuity as appropriate for virtual and the ability of standalone versus systems to address those different needs is what will determine the competitive outlines for who is the preferred virtual provider. Based on that, I would speculate that about 30pct of total E&M would be virtual in steady state, and skewed heavily to returning patients and not new patients.
Simple truth is that one time new episodic care encounters are a relatively small part of the totality of all encounters. And to apply demand assumptions of one segment to the broader population has potential for error.
Has anyone heard of TigerConnect? I was approached for an interview and can’t find much information about them.
Thanks N1! Good to know there are good ppl at the top.
